Data Analysis

The analytical framework employs NLTK's VADER (Valence Aware Dictionary and sEntiment Reasoner) SentimentIntensityAnalyzer to conduct nuanced sentiment classification and scoring. The methodology extends beyond basic sentiment analysis by incorporating emotion keyword extraction, enabling a deeper understanding of the specific language patterns that shape public discourse.

Final Deliverable

The findings are presented through an interactive Streamlit dashboard, offering stakeholders comprehensive visualization tools to explore temporal sentiment patterns, engagement metrics, and emotional language distribution. Through this multi-platform analysis integrating visual content from Flickr and textual discussions, the research reveals significant correlations between sentiment fluctuations and key historical events. This project contributes to the growing field of digital public opinion analysis, providing valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and social scientists studying the intersection of social media discourse and global conflicts.
