iHealth

The project focused on designing a mobile application aimed at improving health outcomes for older adults. By addressing specific challenges faced by this demographic, such as accessibility, usability, and health management, the project aimed to create a user-friendly and inclusive app that supports their well-being and independence.

Design Implementation

I began the design process by conducting research into the needs and preferences of older adults to ensure the app addressed their unique challenges. Using Figma, I designed intuitive interfaces and interactions that prioritized simplicity and accessibility. Key features included large buttons, readable fonts, and clear navigation paths to accommodate users with limited technical proficiency or visual impairments. I incorporated functionalities for tracking health metrics, setting medication reminders, and providing easy access to educational health resources. Throughout the project, I gathered feedback from users to refine the design and improve the overall user experience.

Goals

The iHealth project allowed me to explore the importance of designing for inclusivity and empathy particularly for underserved user groups such as older adults. My goal was not only to improve health outcomes but also to empower users by giving them tools to manage their well-being more effectively.
